We have been busy in our scrap room today. Creative Me is in card mode right now, and totally in love with the new Graphic 45: The Magic of OZ. This card was made for the Tuesday Trio design team’s Sketch 80: Women. And who better than Dorothy to represent! She did not sit in her house and wait to be rescued. Rather, she…and her little dog too…went off to find answers. She rescued herself, and a lot of others along the way.
The bonus Dorothy’s on the desk are destined for Operation Write Home (so that the troops can write their loved ones). Creative Me also made a tutorial today to show how to get text to scraps- without a stamp. For some of you, this is a no brainer (scarecrow pun intended). For those who have never tried, maybe this bit of wisdom (tin man) will give you the courage (lion) to do so!
As for pens and pencils, the POW apologizes for prematurely showing our Copic Storage (as we were SO excited to have them delivered by the mail man). However, we did let OCD Me play on the internet, and are now the proud owners of the Copic Color Wheel (Fabulous spouse did remark on the number of blank spaces and how we are destined to be poor for years to come…he knows the shopping habits of the Inner Hoarder way too well!) and blank color chart.
Filling out the chart…yes, *sigh* that is all the Copics that we own… gives Creative me a good idea of what the color will actually look like rather than guessing from the cap.

I have the Promarker andthe Copic's chart, so my hubby too lookson withthat look of...oh, beans for tea for the next ten years! I was doing your thingy (printing) yesterday..but kept putting the paper in the wrong way!! got there in the end though! Have a great woyww ((Lyn))

I agree it’s good to have your own colour chart and I have one for my Promarkers, although there are still a lot of blank spaces on there. Guess I should do something about that, Lol!

Well done to your son, looks like he makes you proud. I do that text printing thing all the time, I have lots of free fonts downloaded just for making sentiments with! Like the cards and that chart will be handy, it will give your husband Christmas and birthday ideas for years to come!!

Very cute card!
Mention the word Hoarder to me and I start shifting about in my seat nervously ever since watching the series on TV... I guess all those peeps must have started somewhere and look what happened?? I then go into crazy housewife mode for a couple of hours until the effects of said program wear off... then its back to normal for the room of stash!!

Looks like it was a very happy Tuesday for your son - congrats to him! Like the style of your card, but so not into Dorothy et al..I do like the notebook edge, I must do that more.

I think all the husbands of crafters/artists look forward to beans and rice for the next hundred years while we buy and hoard all these goodies that only God knows how we will all use before going on to our heavenly rewards...Love the CTMH stamps. Nice to see son growing up and receiving those merits. (I was a Girl Guide (UK) for years and only retired when I felt it was time to give way to younger ideas).
